AFL Coaches Association · Corporate Partner Program 2026
Lead people the way elite coaches do.
One-on-one leadership coaching with a current AFL assistant coach. Your coach helps you build your own leadership plan and holds you to it.
Who it's for
You run a tight operation. The next step is your people.
The program is built for senior managers and business owners who are strong on the operational side and want to get better at leading, developing and challenging the people around them.
- You're the one who gets things done, and your team leans on you for answers.
- You put off hard conversations, or have them and they don't land.
- You've stepped up into a bigger role and lead people who used to be your peers.
- You want a team that holds its own standards when you're not in the room.
Why this works
AFL assistant coaches develop people under pressure every week.
They work with different personalities and backgrounds every day, and their results are judged in public every weekend. This program puts that experience to work on your leadership.
Proven under pressure
Your coach is an accredited AFL assistant coach trained in the Coach Competency Framework: deep listening and honest feedback.
A plan, not a program
You build one living Personal Development Plan that's reviewed and refined every session, so it never gets filed away and forgotten.

Questions
Common questions
Do I need to be into football?
No. The coaches are experts in developing people, and football is where they built that skill. Plenty of the ideas come from the club environment, but your sessions are about your role, your team and your business.
How much time does it take?
Five one-on-one sessions spread over three to six months, at a pace that suits you. Between sessions you work on the actions in your plan, with support from your coach.
How is my coach chosen?
After your discovery call we match you with the coach whose strengths fit what you want to work on. You can tell us who you're leaning towards before the call.
Who runs the program?
Beyond the Coaches Box is a partnership between the AFL Coaches Association and TELOS Performance Partners.
